چکیده

The well-known limitations of modal system identification methods have led to a broad exploration alternative solutions for operational monitoring and damage diagnosis structures. This study presents time-domain Bayesian finite element model updating approach jointly identify the vehicular loads modeling parameters bridges using vibration data location vehicles traversing bridge as input. A is devised verified through series case studies based on numerically simulated from prestressed reinforced concrete box-girder model. Damage states are defined degradation delamination, steel corrosion, loss prestressing force. Ten different scenarios, encompassing range minor localized major distributed damage, examined. responses damaged under random traffic scenarios. acceleration responses, along with bridge, used estimating loads. estimated then infer extent within bridge. results show successful performance proposed in environment.

A NEW APPROACH BASED ON FINITE ELEMENT MODEL UPDATING FOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE IDENTIFICATION

In this study, the finite element model updating was simulated by reducing the stiffness of the members. Due to lack of access to the experimental results, the data obtained from an analytical model were used in the proposed structural damage scenarios. The updating parameters for the studied structures were defined as a reduction coefficient applied to the stiffness of the members. Parameter v...

DAMAGE IDENTIFICATION OF TRUSSES BY FINITE ELEMENT MODEL UPDATING USING AN ENHANCED LEVENBERG-MARQUARDT ALGORITHM

This paper presents an efficient method for updating the structural finite element model. Model updating is performed through minimizing the difference of recorded acceleration of real damaged structure and hypothetical damaged structure, by updating physical parameters in each phase using iterative process of Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. This algorithm is based on sensitivity analysis and pr...

Finite element model updating of a geared rotor system using particle swarm optimization for condition monitoring

In this paper, condition monitoring of a geared rotor system using finite element (FE) model updating and particle swarm optimization (PSO) method is onsidered. For this purpose, employing experimental data from the geared rotor system, an updated FE model is obtained. The geared rotor system under study consists of two shafts, four bearings, and two gears. To get the experimental data,  iezoel...
